4.0"Although the purchase and trade-in process was fairly seemless, the sales associate wasn't available on the night I wanted to buy the car so I said it was no problem to come the next morning. I gave an appx. time I could be there and ran about 20 minutes late. I then felt like I was rushed through the process because he had another delivery scheduled after me and I felt like I was "inconvenient" for coming when I did. When making a large purchase, such as a brand new car, I would think any sales associate would be happy to spend time with me and flexible on when it is convenient for me. Also as a result, someone wasn't able to go through all the details of the car with me. When I came to pick up the car and sign the papers, the price of the car was forgotten and I had to be asked, the interest rate changed, and I was misquoted my monthly payments. I also received a letter from MINI financial a couple weeks after I purchased the car informing me that there was an error in my contract (luckily in my favor) but withouth explanation further than which sections had changed." I received diagnosis and was presented with all the information from Rachel (who rocks!) to make an informed decision about what work I needed/ wanted to have done during the visit. I was able to learn a bit about how special my car is. When I came in to pick up the car, the hours were very convenient for my schedule, the repairs were explained and documented, and I got to browse the "mini heaven" that is the showroom - accessories, performance upgrades, and sweet deals abound throughout. I made an appt to have a car alarm installed and some other warranty work. However, the work wasn't completed in time and I had to drive a loaner back home. A week later, I returned to get the car. I was very pleased with the installation of the car alarm, but another issue was not fixed satisfactorily. This wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have to drive so far for warranty work. I had arranged to have a shuttle take me to work but when I realized I had forgotten my purse I asked to be taken home instead and then planned to take the bus. Seattle Mini offered to take me home to get my purse and then take me to work! The evening shuttle arrived early to pick me up. The driver of both trips, James, was an interesting and delightful person and I enjoyed chatting with him. When I picked up my car, the service was done as described in the morning, my car was ready, check out was quick. An all-in-all exceptional service by any standards." This detailed plan which also included prices helped me to make some important maintenance decisions. I really like format and it was nice to have it sent directly to you.
