When it senses an impending impact, it will activate a combination of features to help prevent or reduce the severity of an accident. Forward collision mitigation is always looking ahead.

Pedestrians don't always stop, look, and listen, but with Pedestrian Impact Prevention, your vehicle is equipped to better see them and avoid them. This system constantly monitors the road ahead to identify and track pedestrians. It projects that image to an interior display screen, AND should an impact become likely, Pedestrian impact prevention takes steps to avoid a collision.
  • Rear camera - Watching your back! The rear camera helps you see obstacles and hazards you otherwise couldn't by showing enhanced images of what is behind you. The rear camera is an extra set of eyes that's both convenient and safe.
  • Predictive brake assist - Be prepared for your big brake. Predictive brake assist monitors the available distance in front of you compared to your vehicles speed. If your speed exceeds the required distance to stop short of a collision, it readies your brakes to apply maximum stopping force when you use them. Predictive brake assist helps see to it that you stop.

    Excellent driving car. Iconic looks, inside and out. Great gas mileage, averaging 34 mpg. Would have given it a 5 star rating, but the rear brakes had to be replaced at 22,000 miles. And rhe run-flat tires suck. I bought a spare kit and out real tires on it. It handles so much better.…

    The car truly is excellent. Ride is a tad bit firm as expected for such a well handling vehicle. It is greatly improved by the choice of tires. It is sporty without compromising on economy. I frequently get 33 mpg with the manual variant when driven responsibly. With a more heavy foot I average around 26mpg. It is truly a car like no other. And safe. I got in an accident with the car hitting another at 50mph and I've never felt so safe in a vehicle. All airbags deployed and the vehicle did a tremendous job making the impact feel as if it was not happening. I acquired exactly the same one!…
